I call it the greatest meat marinade, because it is so easy!
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup vinegar
1 cup olive oil (you can use ordinary cooking oil)
2 cloves garlic crushed
15 ml dried mixed herbs
salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
Mix everything in a bowl. season to taste. Pour over meat. To get the best flavour allow the meat to marinade at least 8 hours, but if this is last minute, just baste the meat continuously while cooking.
