HOT OR COLD

INGREDIENTS

½ onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, chopped

500 gm baby marrows cut into even slices

500gm chicken or vegetable stock

½ tsp salt

1 pinch ground pepper

10 gm margarine

40 gm cream cheese (optional) or ½ cream or Orley whip

METHOD

Heat oil in a pot and add onions and garlic sauté for around 5 minutes, don’t allow the onions to brown.

Add baby marrows, stock and seasoning. Cook on medium for 15 minutes

Add margarine and cheese or cream. Blend until smooth.

Adjust seasoning to taste.
