Serves 10-12 people
250 gm herring fillets
1 matzah
3 hard boiled eggs
3 medium granny smith apples
1 1/2 tbs white vinegar
1 large onion
1/4 tsp black pepper
Sugar to taste
Mince herrings, matzah, eggs, apples and onion together, mix well. Add the sugar, pepper and vinegar and mix well. Adjust the taste accordingly.
Serve on a platter and garnish as desired.
