4 potatoes grated
3 eggs lightly beaten
3 TBS grated onion
1/2 cup matzah meal
60 ml schmaltz or margarine
salt and pepper to taste
Pre heat your oven to 200 C
Once you have peeled and grated the potatoes, let them rest in a colander or strainer to drain the excess water.
Mix all your ingredients together and then stir in the potato and onion.
place in a greased oven proof dish.
Bake until crisp and golden brown, about 20 minutes.
